Process
- Write your biography/ autobiography on the page. Be creative, try writing it down at different angles, in a spiral, chopped up, etc. Fill the page.
- Lay out a design with tape on top of your writing and paint 1 layer of thinned gesso over the ENTIRE page.
- Add watercolor onto this layer. Leave some spaces empty. Feel free to experiment with mixing and working wet vs. dry. Remove the tape after your paper has dried. Pull the tape away close & at an angle to the surface of the paper to prohibit tearing.
- Add a contour line drawing of the person you wrote the story about on the page no less than 6 inches by 6 inches. Consider doing this with a color (instead of black) & more than one drawing of the person somewhere else on the page.
