Light Box Sculpture Process:
- Watch the video of artists Hari & Deepti displayed above. Look at some of their works in the slideshow below. Reverse engineer their work to discover how it was made. Write down each step.
- Click here to watch the video on how to construct a light box paper sculpture. Separate your illustration into layers (8 or more!).
- Build a small Maquette (3D Sketch) of your illustration using the process you learned in the DIY Light box Video. Start from the front and work your way to the back. Make sure you have a 1/4 inch border around every layer! Label each layer and write notes on the process you will use for each step.
- Build your relief sculpture!
